We
have been inseminating our Texel flock with imported
semen for several years, using both Dutch and UK
genetics. As of
December 2007, USDA rules allow the offspring of
imported European semen to reside in any flock. The
flock does not have to be enrolled in the Voluntary Scrapie Flock Certification Program.
